Installation notes

Before installation, find and remove the cause of the failure: check the oil feed and return lines for restriction, renew engine oil and oil filter, and inspect the air filter and the charge air system for dirt or debris from the old turbocharger. Prime the new unit with clean engine oil, fit new gaskets on the oil feed and drain, and let the engine idle for a few minutes before applying load. Tightening torques according to the manufacturer workshop manual.
