Engine timing & timing case

The timing case sits between the crankshaft and the camshaft drive and carries the gear train that keeps the two in step. It is also a sealing surface: a leaking case or a worn cover gasket shows up as oil on the front of the engine long before anything starts to rattle.

Timing cases, timing covers and the gaskets and bushes that go with them are listed for MAN D08, D20, D26 and D28, including versions with a power take-off and with a speed sensor mount. Crankshaft timing gears belong to this group as well.
