Motor Blocks (Crankcase)

The crankcase carries the main bearings and the cylinder liners, so its condition decides whether an engine is worth rebuilding. Before a block is listed it is pressure tested for cracks and leaks, and bores and bearing seats are measured against the manufacturer limits.

Bare blocks and blocks with liners are available for MAN D20 and D26 in-line engines, D28 V-engines and Mercedes-Benz OM470 and OM471.
