Connecting rods & bearings

A connecting rod is only as good as its big-end bore. Once a bearing has run hot the bore is out of round, and a new shell in it will not last. Rods are measured for bore size, twist and centre distance before they are offered, and cracked rods stay paired with their own cap.

Rods and conrod bearing shells are available for MAN D0836, D2066, D2676, D2866 and D2876. Shells are listed in standard size and in the usual undersizes, so a reground crankshaft can be matched exactly.
